Food & Treats
Pet wellness is the cornerstone of our business. We want your pet to be happy and healthy throughout a long energetic life. With that in mind we carefully select only the best foods and treats. We carry a wide variety of the best available today. Every pet is different, some prefer kibble, some freeze-dried, other frozen. We’ve done our research and only carry the best of the best. Many are homemade local products, made with fresh locally sourced ingredients. Others, from larger companies are carefully vetted and selected based on their ingredients, where they source from and overall dedication to providing the highest quality products.
Included in our line-up are: Primal, Acana, Orijen, Carna4, Stella & Chewy’s, Fromm, Open Farm, Instinct, Lotus and Earthborn. These are the highest grade products on the market. Please visit their sites and learn for yourself about the quality and attention to detail that drives these companies.
With a variety of healthy stimulating toys your pets will be well entertained. All of our toys are selected for durability, safety and many are made in the USA. We carry West Paw, Kong and Chuck-It. It’s a fact that a tired dog, is a well behaved dog and a healthier dog. Encouraging play with quality toys is not only fun but very healthy for your dog. A bored dog is more likely to turn a shoe or a couch into their play thing. A quality toy is more than just something to chew on, hiding snacks inside of a Kong also stimulates your dog’s brain and keeps them challenged, occupied, and young!
Getting your dog out for a walk just might be the most important thing you do for your little one, well next to a healthy diet. Dogs need walks, no matter how big or small their yard, they need the excitement of the unknown and going on walks. A regular collar is important but not the best choice for attaching a leash as it can lead to neck and throat damage especially with smaller dogs that are prone to esophageal collapse. A breast harness is a much safer choice. We carry a wide selection of harnesses that work well for any size dog. We carry Bark Appeal Mesh Harnesses with matching leashes as well as Freedom No Pull Harnesses for large dogs and Gentle Leader face halter for pups that are a bit more "ambitious" on their walks.
Along with a healthy diet, supplementation is as important for our pets as it is for us. If your dog or cat happens to have a condition such as an unhealthy coat or dry itchy skin, a combination of quality natural foods and the right supplements are a smart choice toward getting them on the road to recovery. Here at Fetching Dog we work with integrative Veterinarians, specifically Dr Jodie Gruenstern and Dr. Julie Mayer. Through their recommendation we have chosen only the best pet supplements and foods to offer or customers. Below are a few examples of the products we carry. We recommend you do your due diligence and research any supplements you plan on giving to your pets. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Dear to all of us at Fetching Dog is our Animal Rescue program.
Animal rescue is of critical importance to us at Fetching Dog. Saving and improving the lives of neglected and homeless animals is something that we can all lend a contributing hand to. We have a continuing fundraising campaign running in our salon with our "Giving Tree". Much like the paper angel tree present in malls that has helped so many less fortunate children our Giving-Tree helps the less fortunate four legged friends in our community, which in turn helps the entire family. We have special collection boxes for specific sponsored pets in our rescue program that require special medical care, and are in need of extra funding. We are grateful to collect gently used, beds, bowls, toys, etc that we can pass along to the groups we work with. When possible, we will be holding adoption events in our store which will be posted on our website and in our store in advance.
